Recovery Connection Team

Mission

Connecting overdose survivors and those close to them to services and supports including treatment, recovery, peer support and harm reduction services.

What is the Recovery Connection Team?

The Recovery Connection Team is a partnership between Jackson Community Ambulance and Home of New Vision. Our team connects you and your family to valuable community recovery resources after surviving an overdose.

What Can I Expect?

We will contact you by phone or visit you shortly after an overdose to offer supports and resources. We may visit you at the hospital, your home, or another community location of your choosing. The team includes trained Peer Recovery Coaches who have their own experience with addiction and are in recovery. We empathize with your experience and will treat you with dignity and respect. We meet you where you are at. We can connect you to treatment, recovery, harm reduction, medical, or mental health services, as well as food, transportation, and housing assistance. We will help you take your next steps in recovery.
