This years Fun in the Sun Event is being held at FaHoLo!

We will have fun educational and recreational activities along with many chances to win prizes!

Breakfast and Lunch will be provided!

The recreational activities we will be offering include: Go Carts, Water Blob, Water Trampoline, Swimming, Rock Climbing, Canoeing & Paddle Boating, Swing By Choice, and High Ropes!

Islands of Wellness: Family Friendly Event

Join us for Islands of Wellness, a family-friendly event, inspired by the story of Inside Out and SAMHSA’s Eight Dimensions of Wellness!

Activities throughout the day teach kids and their family how to take care of their mental health and beat stress in a fun and interactive way! Families will complete challenges based on SAMSHA’s 8 Dimensions of Wellness which boost mental health. Each attendee completes a passport and participates in an activity at each of the 8 Islands for prizes!

Don't miss Resource Reef, featuring community resources and Serenity Point, featuring stress relief & coping skills activities such as pet, art and music therapy to beat stress!

This event is a collaboration with Drug Free Jackson, LifeWays, and Baker College of Jackson

Please join us for the 5th Annual Jackson County Drug Summit Friday, November 30, 2018. Hosted by Drug Free Jackson and The Jackson County Office of the Prosecuting Attorney.

The event is set to be held at Jackson College’s George E. Potter Center.

The day will include speakers from multiple specialties.

Registration is FREE and lunch will be provided.

CEU’s and SCECH’s are available for this event.

Drug Free Jackson, The City of Jackson Police Department, Henry Ford Allegiance Health, Center for Family Health, and Michigan OPEN are partnering together to bring a medication take-back day to Jackson County.

Please bring your used and/or expired medications to Center for Family Health (505 N. Jackson St., Jackson, MI) on Saturday, October 27, 2018 between 10 AM and 2 PM.

ACCEPTED ITEMS INCLUDE: Pills, Capsules, and Patches

Most Teens Don't Zombie Walk & Movie

Join us for a night full of family fun and help us send students to Washington DC!

Most Teens Don’t is hosting a Zombie Walk and Movie fundraiser to help raise money to send students to Washington DC this February, 2019.

The Event will begin with a per donation Zombie Walk around downtown Jackson. Please come dressed in your best Zombie costume and attire! There will be prizes available for best male and female costumes. K105.3 will be there as well playing some of our favorite tunes!

After the walk, we will be offering a family friendly Halloween movie per donation at the Michigan Theatre. Snacks, soda and Zombie t-shirts will be available for purchase.

Recreational Marijuana: The Impact on Michigan

Please join us for an educational marijuana town hall meeting the evening of October 4th.

The event is free and open to the public.

The town hall will include presentations from the Michigan Chamber of Commerce, Michigan Prosecuting Attorneys Association, Healthy and Productive Michigan, Michigan Prevention Association, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.

The goal of this meeting is to educate Jackson County residents on the potential consequences of legalizing marijuana for recreational use.
